HomeMy WebLinkAboutRES 07-211 RESOLUTION NO.07-211 WHEREAS, Villa de Lucas, Inc., has agreed to convey a ten-foot (10') wide water line easement, being a 1.40 acre tract of land in the A. Williams Survey, Beaumont, Jefferson County, Texas, as described in Exhibit "A" and shown on Exhibit "B" attached hereto, to the City of Beaumont for the purpose of providing access to the water lines and fire hydrants for the Villa de Lucas Housing project at 1005 East Lucas Drive and to allow for the construction, alteration, operation and maintenance of the said water line and appurtenances; and, WHEREAS, the City Council has considered the purpose of said conveyance and is of the opinion that the acceptance of said conveyance is necessary and desirable and that same should be accepted; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT: THAT the easement conveyed by Villa de Lucas, Inc., as described in Exhibit "A" and shown on Exhibit "B" attached hereto, be and the same is hereby, in all things, accepted for the aforestated purpose.
