WHEREAS, on July 18, 2006, the City Council of the City of Beaumont, Texas,
passed Resolution No. 06-204 awarding a contract in the amount of$1,267,082 to H. B.
Neild & Sons, Inc. for the construction of the Beaumont Convention & Visitors Bureau
office building at 505 Willow; and,
WHEREAS, Change Order Nos. 1 - 9 in the amount of$8,484.97 were authorized
by the City Manager, thereby increasing the contract amount to $1,275,566.97; and,
WHEREAS, Change Order No. 10 in the amount of$27,778.05 thereby increasing
the contract amount to $1,303,345.02;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the City Manager be and he is hereby authorized to execute Change Order No. 10
in the amount of$27,778.05 thereby increasing the contract amount to$1,303,345.02 for
the construction of the Beaumont Convention & Visitors Bureau office building at 505
Willow.
