WHEREAS, bids were received for the purchase of illuminated street signs to be
installed throughout the City; and,
WHEREAS, Lighting Technologies, Inc., Tomball, Texas, submitted a bid in the
estimated cost of approximately $371,800 as shown in the unit amounts shown below:

143 Leotek illuminated street signs $2,300 each $328,900
286 Pelco standard or adjustable brackets $150 each 42,900
TOTAL: $371,800
and,
WHEREAS, City Council is of the opinion that the bid submitted by Lighting
Technologies, Inc., Tomball, Texas„ should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid submitted by Lighting Technologies, Inc., Tomball, Texas, for the purchase
of illuminated street signs to be installed throughout the City in the estimated cost of
approximately $371,800 as shown in the unit amounts shown above be accepted by the
City of Beaumont.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this the 11th day of July,
2007.
