WHEREAS, bids were received for the purchase of seven (7) zero-turn radius
mowers forthe Parks and Recreation Department and the Water Utilities Department;and,
WHEREAS, Oil City Tractors, Beaumont, Texas, submitted a bid in the amount of
$7,106.94 each for a total amount of$49,748.58; and,
WHEREAS, City Council is of the opinion that the bid submitted by Oil City Tractors,
Beaumont, Texas, should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid submitted by Oil City Tractors, Beaumont, Texas, for the purchase of seven
(7) Exmark M/N LAS28KA604, 28 HP, for the Parks and Recreation Department and the
Water Utilities Department in the amount of $7,106.94 each for a total amount of
$49,748.58 by the City of Beaumont.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this the 29th day of
May, 2007.
