WHEREAS, bids were received for the purchase of four (4) compact rubber track
excavators for the Water Utilities Department; and,
WHEREAS, United Rentals, Beaumont, Texas, submitted a bid in the amount of
$37,548 each for a total amount of$150,192; and,
WHEREAS, City Council is of the opinion that the bid submitted by United Rentals,
Beaumont, Texas, should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid submitted by United Rentals, Beaumont, Texas, for the purchase of four(4)
Takeuchi TB135C, for the Water Utilities Department in the amount of$37,548 each for
a total amount of$150,192 by the City of Beaumont.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this the 29th day of May,
2007.
