WHEREAS, bids were received for the purchase of six(6) Self Contained Breathing
Apparatus (SCBA) and air cylinders for the Fire Department; and,
WHEREAS, Municipal Emergency Services, Houston, Texas, submitted a bid in the
amount of$25,848; and,
WHEREAS, City Council is of the opinion that the bid submitted by Municipal
Emergency Services, Houston, Texas, should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid submitted by Municipal Emergency Services, Houston, Texas, for the
purchase of six (6) Self Contained Breathing Apparatus (SCBA) and air cylinders for the
Fire Department in the amount of$25,848 be accepted by the City of Beaumont.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this the 20th day of
March, 2007.
