WHEREAS, bids were received for a contract to furnish all labor, materials and
equipment necessary for the construction of Martin Luther King, Jr. Park; and,
WHEREAS, N &T Construction Company, Inc., Orange, Texas, submitted a bid in
the amount of$648,000; and,
WHEREAS, City Council is of the opinion that the bid submitted by N & T
Construction Company, Inc., Orange, Texas, should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid submitted by N & T Construction Company, Inc., Orange, Texas, for a
contract to furnish all labor, materials and equipment necessary for the construction of
Martin Luther King, Jr. Park be accepted by the City of Beaumont.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this the 31 st of October,
2006.
