ENTITLED AN ORDINANCE ABANDONING THE 2400
BLOCK OF DOUGLAS STREET IN THE CITY OF
BEAUMONT, JEFFERSON COUNTY, TEXAS.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the 2400 block of Douglas Street, being a 30' wide street beginning in the east
right-of-way line of Campbell Street and continuing east to what is the southeast corner of
Lot 2, Block 3 and the northeast corner of Lot 8, Block 2, Lincoln Addition, City of
Beaumont, Jefferson County, Texas, containing 0.07 acres, more or less, as described on
Exhibit"A" attached hereto, be and the same is hereby vacated and abandoned, subject
to the retention of a 30' wide general utility easement.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this the 24th day of
October, 2006.
