ENTITLED AN ORDINANCE ABANDONING A 20' X 141'
PORTION OF THE ALLEY IN BLOCK 40, VAN WORMER
ADDITION, WEST OF ORANGE STREET AND SOUTH OF
REVEREND C. W. DANIELS/CEDAR STREET IN THE CITY
OF BEAUMONT, JEFFERSON COUNTY, TEXAS.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT a 20'wide x 141' length portion of the alley in Block 40, Van Wormer Addition, west
of Orange Street and south of Reverend C. W. Daniels Cedar Street, being a 20' x 141'
portion of the alley beginning in the west right-of-way line of Orange Street and continuing
southwesterly to what is the southwest corner of Lot 3, Block 40 and the northwest corner
of Lot 10, Block 40, Van Wormer Addition, City of Beaumont, Jefferson County, Texas,
containing 0.06 acres, more or less, as described on Exhibits "A"and "B" attached hereto,
be and the same are hereby vacated and abandoned.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this the 24th day of
October, 2006.
