WHEREAS, The Port of Beaumont Navigational District of Jefferson County and
Jefferson County have agreed to donate right-of-way to the City of Beaumont forthe Main
and Blanchette Project described below and as shown on Exhibit "A" attached hereto;
Tract 1 0.061 acre out of Lot 1, Block 8, Beaumont Addition
Owner: Port of Beaumont Navigational District of Jefferson County
Tract 2 0.005 acre out of Lot 2, Block 8, Beaumont Addition
Owner: Jefferson County, Texas
WHEREAS, the City Council has considered the conveyance of said tracts and is
of the opinion that the delivery and receipt of said tract is necessary and desirable and that
same should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the tracts conveyed by The Port of Beaumont Navigational District of Jefferson
County and Jefferson County are hereby in all things accepted.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this the 24th day of
October, 2006.
