WHEREAS, bids were received for the purchase of remote visual inspection
equipment for the Police Department; and,
WHEREAS, GE Inspection Technologies, Flanders, New Jersey, submitted a bid
in the amount of$33,465; and,
WHEREAS, City Council is of the opinion that the bid submitted by GE Inspection
Technologies, Flanders, New Jersey, should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid submitted by GE Inspection Technologies, Flanders, New Jersey, for the
purchase of a VideoProbe XL PRO remote visual inspection system for the Police
Department in the amount of$33,465 be accepted by the City of Beaumont.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this the 19th day of
September, 2006.
