WHEREAS, bids were received for a contract to install an intrusion monitoring
system at the Lawson's Pump Station; and,
WHEREAS, B. L. Technology, Houston, Texas, submitted a bid in the amount of
$82,631.90; and,
WHEREAS, City Council is of the opinion that the bid submitted by B. L.
Technology, Houston, Texas, should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid submitted by B. L. Technology, Houston, Texas, for a contract to install an
intrusion monitoring system at the Lawson's Pump Station in the amount of$82,631.90 be
accepted by the City of Beaumont.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this the 26th day of
September, 2006.
