WHEREAS, bids were received for furnishing all labor, supplies, materials and
equipment for replacement of the roof and wall panels at the Fleet Maintenance facility
damaged by Hurricane Rita; and,
WHEREAS, Cleveco Construction, Lumberton, Texas, submitted a bid in the
amount of $222,170; and,
WHEREAS, City Council is of the opinion that the bid submitted by Cleveco
Construction, Lumberton, Texas, should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid submitted by Cleveco Construction, Lumberton, Texas, for furnishing all
labor, supplies, materials and equipment for replacement of the roof and wall panels at the
Fleet Maintenance facility damaged by Hurricane Rita in the total amount of$222,170 be
accepted by the City of Beaumont.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this the 29th day of
August, 2006.
