WHEREAS, bids were received for the purchase of one (1) portable air compressor
for the Water Utilities Department; and,
WHEREAS, United Rentals, Beaumont, Texas, submitted a bid in the amount of
$53,609; and,
WHEREAS, City Council is of the opinion that the bid submitted by United Rentals,
Beaumont, Texas, should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid submitted by United Rentals, Beaumont, Texas, for the purchase of one (1)
Sullair 825DTQCA in the amount of $53,609 be accepted by the City of Beaumont.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this the 22"d day of
August, 2006.
