WHEREAS, bids were received for an annual contract for the purchase of manholes,
manhole covers and sewer line materials and,
WHEREAS, Golden Triangle Pipe, Beaumont, Texas, submitted a bid in the unit
costs as shown on Exhibit "A," for an estimated total amount of$67,963.84; and,
WHEREAS, City Council is of the opinion that the bid submitted by Golden Triangle
Pipe, Texas, should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid submitted by Golden Triangle Pipe, Beaumont, Texas,for an annual contract
for the purchase of manholes, manhole covers and sewer line materials in the unit costs as
shown on Exhibit "A,"for an estimated total amount of$67,963.84 be accepted by the City
of Beaumont.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this the 22"d day of
August, 2006.
