WHEREAS, Michael L. Kreager, Trustee, has agreed to donate his 50% interest in
Lot 16, Block "B" of the Amelia Heights Addition located at the intersection of F.M. 364
(Major Drive) and Washington Boulevard to the City of Beaumont for the future widening
of Washington Boulevard, as shown on Exhibit "A" attached hereto; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council has considered the conveyance of said tract and is of
the opinion that the delivery and receipt of said tract is necessary and desirable and that
same should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the undivided 50% interest in the above described property conveyed by Michael L.
Kreager, Trustee, is hereby in all things accepted.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this the 22nd day of
August, 2006.
