WHEREAS, bids were received for a contract for the construction of the Proposed
Wiess Bluff Pump Station Neches River Bank Stabilization Project; and,
WHEREAS, Laughlin Thyssen, LTD, Houston,Texas,submitted a bid in the amount
shown of $917,000; and,
WHEREAS, City Council is of the opinion that the bid submitted by Laughlin
Thyssen, LTD, Houston, Texas, Texas, should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid submitted by Laughlin Thyssen, LTD, Houston, Texas, in the amount of
$917,000 for the construction of the Proposed Wiess Bluff Pump Station Neches River
Bank Stabilization Project be accepted by the City of Beaumont.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this the 25th day of July,
2006.
