WHEREAS, bids were received for the purchase and installation of a live-fire
training unit for the Police Department; and,
WHEREAS, Porta-Target, Grant, Florida, submitted a bid in the amount of
$98,992.92; and
WHEREAS, City Council is of the opinion that the bid submitted by Porta-
Target, Grant, Florida, should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid submitted by Porta-Target, Grant, Florida, for the purchase and installation
of a live-fire training unit for the Police Department in the amount of$98,992.92 be
accepted by the City of Beaumont.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this the 18th day
of July, 2006.
