WHEREAS, an agreement has been negotiated with the owners for the acquisition of
land necessary for the Martin Luther King, Jr. Park;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the purchase in the amount of $25,000 of the following land as shown on Exhibit "A"
attached hereto for the Martin Luther King, Jr. Park, be and the same is hereby, approved:
975 Wall Street - Lot 8, Block 9 of the Van Wormer Addition
Owners: Azad Deen and Rosalind Deen
Total Appraised Value: $25,000
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this the 11th day of July,
2006.
