WHEREAS, bids were received forthe purchase of laptop computers forthe Police
Department's Criminal Investigations Division; and,
WHEREAS, Dell Computer Corporation, Round Rock,Texas, submitted a bid in the
amount of$1,723.66 each for a total cost of$34,473.20; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the bid submitted by Dell
Computer Corporation, Round Rock, Texas, should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid submitted by Dell Computer Corporation, Round Rock, Texas, for the
purchase of laptop computers forthe Police Department's Criminal Investigations Division
in the amount of$1,723.66 each for a total cost of$34,473.20 be accepted by the City of
Beaumont.
