ENTITLED AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO.
06-018 ALLOWING PROFESSIONAL OFFICES IN AN RM-H
(RESIDENTIAL MULTIPLE FAMILY DWELLING-HIGHEST
DENSITY) DISTRICT AT 3510-3520 AND 3590 DELAWARE
STREET, BEAUMONT, JEFFERSON COUNTY, TEXAS.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
Section 1.
That Ordinance No. 06-018 passed by the City Council of the City of Beaumont on March
28, 2006, granting a specific use permit to Sheri Arnold to allow professional offices in an
RM-H (Residential Multiple Family Dwelling-Highest Density) District at 3590 Delaware
Street, be and the same is hereby amended to include property located at 3510-3520
Delaware Street, consisting of an additional 1.42 acres, thereby modifying the property
description as follows:
Being Lot 8, Tracts 2, 3, and 5, Block 2, French Addition, City of Beaumont,
Jefferson County, Texas, containing 2.31 acres, more or less,
as shown on Exhibit "A" attached hereto; modifying the landscaping requirements along
the east side of the property to allow a 5-7' landscape strip; and requiring construction of
an 8' tall wood screening fence on the east side.
Section 2.
That an amendment to the specific use permit herein granted is expressly issued
for and in accordance with each particular and detail of the site plan attached hereto as
Exhibit "B" and made a part hereof for all purposes.
Section 3.
Notwithstanding the site plan attached hereto,the use of the property herein above
described shall be in all other respects subject to all of the applicable regulations contained
in Chapter 30 of the Code of Ordinances of Beaumont, Texas, as amended.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this the 23rd day of May,
2006.
