HomeMy WebLinkAboutORD 06-033 ORDINANCE NO. 06-033 ENTITLED AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 04-055 TO GRANT A TWELVE (12)MONTH EXTENSION TO A SPECIFIC USE PERMIT TO ALLOW A PROFESSIONAL OFFICE IN AN RM-H (RESIDENTIAL MULTIPLE FAMILY DWELLING-HIGHEST DENSITY) DISTRICT AT 2065 DOWLEN ROAD, BEAUMONT, JEFFERSON COUNTY, TEXAS. WHEREAS,the City Council of the City of Beaumont passed Ordinance No. 04-055 on July 27, 2004, granting a specific use permit to Jack Brooks to allow a financial advisor's office in an RM-H (Residential Multiple Family Dwelling-Highest Density) District at 2065 Dowlen Road; and WHEREAS, Dr. Terry Syler is under contract to purchase the subject property to construct a 2,500 square foot orthodontist office at this location; and WHEREAS, Dr.Terry Sylerwishes a twelve(12)month extension to the specific use permit to allow the construction of this orthodontist office; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT: Section 1. That Ordinance No. 04-055 passed by the City Council of the City of Beaumont on July 27, 2004, granting a specific use permit to allow a professional office in an RM-H (Residential Multiple Family Dwelling-Highest Density) District at 2065 Dowlen Road, being Lot 3, Winchester West Place Addition, City of Beaumont, Jefferson County, Texas, containing 0.31 acres, more or less, as shown on Exhibit "A" attached hereto, be and the same is hereby amended to grant a twelve (12) month extension to Terry Syler to allow for the completion of the construction of a professional office building. Section 2. That an amendment to the specific use permit herein granted is expressly issued for and in accordance with each particular and detail of the site plan attached hereto as Exhibit "B" and made a part hereof for all purposes. Section 3. Notwithstanding the site plan attached hereto,the use of the property herein above described shall be in all other respects subject to all of the applicable regulations contained in Chapter 30 of the Code of Ordinances of Beaumont, Texas, as amended.
