WHEREAS, bids were received for a one (1) year contract for furnishing catering
services for City of Beaumont employees as needed in the event of a declared disaster;
and,
WHEREAS, Deli Management, Inc., dba Jason's Deli, submitted a bid forthree (3)
meals per day at a cost of$4.50 and $5.99 for breakfast meals, $5.75 for boxed lunches,
and $14.00 for dinner meals; and,
WHEREAS, City Council is of the opinion that the bid submitted by Deli
Management, Inc., dba Jason's Deli, should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid submitted by Deli Management, Inc., dba Jason's Deli, for a one (1) year
contract to furnish catering services for City of Beaumont employees as needed in the
event of a declared disaster be accepted by the City of Beaumont.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this the 23rd day of May,
2006.
