WHEREAS,bids were received for the purchase of mobile computer port replicators
and auto power adaptors to mount on mobile computers purchased for installation in
Police, Fire and EMS units; and,
WHEREAS, Austin Ribbon and Computer of Austin, Texas, submitted a bid in the
unit amounts shown below for an estimated total cost of$47,193:

and,
WHEREAS, City Council is of the opinion that the bid submitted by Austin Ribbon
and Computer of Austin, Texas, should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THATthe bid submitted by Austin Ribbon and Computerof Austin,Texas,forthe purchase
of mobile computer port replicators and auto power adaptors to mount on mobile
computers purchased for installation in Police, Fire and EMS units in the estimated total
cost of$47,193 be accepted by the City of Beaumont.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this the 25th day of
April, 2006.
