BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the City Manager be and he is hereby authorized to apply for and receive funding
in the amount of $296,774 through the Department of Homeland Security Port Security
Grant program.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Manager be and he is hereby authorized
to execute an inter-local agreement of support with the Port of Beaumont in order to
comply with applicable federal regulations.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this the 28th day of
February, 2006.
