WHEREAS, bids were received for the purchase of two (2) twenty (20) cubic yard
rear loading refuse collection trucks for the Clean Community Division; and,
WHEREAS, Beaumont Freightliner of Beaumont, Texas, submitted a bid in the
amount of $163,950; and,
WHEREAS, City Council is of the opinion that the bid submitted by Beaumont
Freightliner of Beaumont, Texas, should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid submitted by Beaumont Freightliner of Beaumont, Texas, for the purchase
of two (2) twenty (20) cubic yard rear loading refuse collection trucks for the Clean
Community Division in the amount of$163,950 be accepted by the City of Beaumont.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this the 31 st day of
January, 2006.
