WHEREAS, on May 18, 2004, the City Council of the City of Beaumont, Texas,
awarded a contract to Placo, LTD. in the amount of$272,837.89 for the City of Beaumont
Proposed Lab Building Addition at the Wastewater Treatment Plant Project; and,
WHEREAS, Change Order No. 4 in the amount of$11,820.08 is required for"extra
work" thereby increasing the contract amount to $299,725.17;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the City Manager be, and he is hereby authorized, to execute Change Order No.
4 in the amount of $11,820.08 required for "extra work" thereby increasing the contract
amount to $299,725.17.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of aumont this the 31st day of
January, 2006.
