WHEREAS, on March 17, 2003, City Council approved Resolution No. 03-038
authorizing the City Manager to execute an agreement with Texas Department of
Transportation(TxDOT)for the installation of the traffic signal at the intersection of Walden
Road and Major Drive (FM 364) at an anticipated cost of $24,894.44; and,
WHEREAS, the actual cost incurred totaled $31,708.44; and,
WHEREAS, TxDOT has agreed to amend the agreement to reimburse the actual
cost of $31,708.44;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the City Manager is hereby authorized to execute an amendment to the agreement
between the City of Beaumont and the Texas Department of Transportation to reflect the
actual cost of $31,708.44 for the installation of the traffic signal at the intersection of
Walden Road and Major Drive (FM 364).
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this the 31st day of
January, 2006.
