WHEREAS, bids were received for a six (6) month contract for the purchase of
water treatment chemicals for use by the Water Utilities Department; and,
WHEREAS,the below-listed vendors submitted bids for water treatment chemicals
at the following fixed unit prices with an estimated total contract expenditure of$137,720:

WHEREAS,City Council is of the opinion thatthe bids submitted bythe above-listed
vendors should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bids as shown above for a six (6) month contract for the purchase of water
treatment chemicals for use by the Water Utilities Department be accepted by the City of
Beaumont.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this the 24`h day of
January, 2006.
