WHEREAS, Resolution 05-238 approved the reallocation of funds for the 2000,
2002, 2003 and 2004 Consolidated Block Grant Programs in the total amount of$380,254
to implement an emergency repair program; and,
WHEREAS, this reallocation inadvertently included $150,000 in funds previously
ear-marked for Habitat for Humanity to this Small Business Loan program; and,
WHEREAS, it is the desire of Council to rectify this inadvertence by returning
$53,878 to the 2002 program year Infrastructure line item and returning $96,122 to the
2003 program year Infrastructure line item.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT Resolution No. 05-238 be amended to correct the allocation of Community
Development Block Grant Funds by returning $53,878 to the 2002 program year
Infrastructure line item and reducing the 2003 program year Infrastructure line item by
96,122 and returning that amount to the 2003 program year Infrastructure line item.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED THAT the funding reallocation to the Small Business
Loan Program is as follows:
