WHEREAS, the claim of Norris Bennett was discussed in an Executive Session
properly called and held Tuesday, January 17, 2006; and,
WHEREAS, the Council desires to authorize the settlement of the claim of Norris
Bennett;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the City Attorney be, and he is hereby, authorized to settle the claim of Norris
Bennett for the sum of$30,000.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this the 17th day of
January, 2006.
