WHEREAS, on September 21, 2004, the City Council of the City of Beaumont,
Texas, passed Resolution No. 04-215 awarding a contract in the amount of$922,753 to
Brystar Contracting, Inc., for the 54-inch Interceptor Rehabilitation Project; and,
WHEREAS,Change Order No. 1 in the amount of$16,140 is required for extra work
performed by the Contractor;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the City Manager be and he is hereby authorized to execute Change Order No. 1
in the amount of$16,140 thereby increasing the contract amount to $938,893.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this the 24th day of
January, 2006.
