WHEREAS, bids were received for the purchase of Geographical Information
System hardware and operating system software and licenses through the State of Texas
Catalog Purchasing Program; and,
WHEREAS, Environmental Systems Research Institute, Inc. (ESRI) of Redlands,
California, submitted a bid in the amount of$44,242; and,
WHEREAS, City Council is of the opinion that the bid submitted by Environmental
Systems Research Institute, Inc. (ESRI) of Redlands, California is the best bid meeting
specifications and should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid submitted by Environmental Systems Research Institute, Inc. (ESRI) of
Redlands, California in the amount of $44,242 for the purchase of Geographical
Information System hardware and operating system software and licenses be and same
is hereby accepted.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this the 24th day of
January, 2006.
