WHEREAS, the claims of Brannon Steward v. The City of Beaumont, were
discussed in an Executive Session properly called and held Tuesday, December 13, 2005;
and,
WHEREAS, the Council desires to authorize the settlement of the claim of Brannon
Steward in the lawsuit styled Brannon Steward v. The City of Beaumont;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the City Attorney be, and he is hereby, authorized to settle the claim of Brannon
Steward in the lawsuit styled Brannon Steward v. The City of Beaumont for the sum of
$14,500.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this the 10th day of
January, 2006.
