WHEREAS, bids were received for the furnishing of all labor, equipment, materials
and supplies necessary to repair damage resulting from Hurricane Rita to the Theodore
R. Johns, Sr. Library; and,
WHEREAS, McInnis Construction, Inc., Silsbee, Texas, submitted a bid in the
amount of$154,000; and,
WHEREAS, City Council is of the opinion that the bid submitted by McInnis
Construction, Inc., Silsbee, Texas, should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid submitted by McInnis Construction, Inc., Silsbee, Texas, for the furnishing
of all labor, equipment, materials and supplies necessary to repair damage resulting from
Hurricane Rita to the Theodore R. Johns, Sr. Library in the amount of $154,000 be
accepted by the City of Beaumont.

December, 2005.
