WHEREAS, bids were received for a six (6) month contract for the purchase of
asphaltic concrete for use by the Public Works Department; and,
WHEREAS, APAC-Texas, Inc., submitted a bid in the unit amounts shown below:
PLANT PICKUP JOBSITE DELIVERY

Hot Laid Concrete $45 $49.25
Cold Laid Concrete $49 $52.65
ESTIMATED TOTAL
EXPENDITURE $139,000
and,
WHEREAS, City Council is of the opinion that the bid submitted by APAC-Texas,
Inc., should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid submitted in the unit amounts shown above by APAC-Texas, Inc., for the
purchase of asphaltic concrete for use by the Public Works Department be accepted by
the City of Beaumont.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this the 13th day of
December, 2005.
