WHEREAS, Resolution No. 05-218 reallocated funds from the 2000 Consolidated
Block Grant Program year to fund Some Other Place, the Salvation Army and the
Southeast Texas Food Bank to assist with disaster relief efforts made necessary by
Hurricane Rita; and,
WHEREAS, Resolution No. 05-218 should be amended to reflect the
reprogramming of Community Development Block Grant Funds(CDBG)forthe appropriate
grant year :
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT Resolution No. 05-218 be amended to reflect the reprogramming of the Community
Development Block Grant Program Funds (CDBG) from the 2002 Grant Year be
reallocated as follows:
Some Other Place $25,000
Southeast Texas Food Bank $25,000
Salvation Army $25,000
TOTAL $75,000
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this the 15th day of
November, 2005.
