HomeMy WebLinkAboutRES 05-236 RESOLUTION NO. 05-236 WHEREAS, on April 6, 2004, the City Council of the City of Beaumont, Texas, awarded a contract to L.D. Construction, in the amount of $1,758,869.80 for the 2003 Street Rehabilitation Project; and, WHEREAS, Change Order No. 1 in the amount of $269,305.80 was required for reduction of the scope of work due to funding availability thereby decreasing the contract amount to $1,489,564; and, WHEREAS, Change Order No. 2 in the amount of($7,860.60) is required to adjust the estimated quantities to the quantities actually used during the construction of the project thereby further decreasing the contract amount to $1,481,703.40, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT: THAT the City Manager be, and he is hereby authorized, to execute Change Order No. 2 to the 2003 Street Rehabilitation Program Project in the amount of($7,860.60)to adjust the estimated quantities to the quantities actually used during the construction of the project thereby decreasing the contract amount to $1,481,703.40. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the project as stated above be and the same is herein accepted and the City Manager be and he is hereby authorized to make Final Payment in the amount of $113,114.32 to L.
