WHEREAS, bids were received for the purchase of 882 feet of precast concrete box
culvert to be used by the Jefferson County Drainage District No. 6 in their rehabilitation of
the Griffing Ditch project; and,
WHEREAS, Hanson Pipe and Products, Houston,Texas,submitted a bid in the unit
amounts shown below:

WHEREAS, City Council is of the opinion that the bid submitted by Hanson Pipe
and Products, Houston, Texas, should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid submitted by Hanson Pipe and Products, Houston, Texas, to purchase 882
feet of precast concrete box culvert in the unit amounts shown above to be used by the
Jefferson County Drainage District No. 6 in their rehabilitation of the Griffing Ditch project
be accepted by the City of y, ont.
