WHEREAS, bids were received for the purchase and installation of a fire alarm system in
the Police Department; and,
WHEREAS, Simplex Grinnell L.P. of Beaumont, Texas, submitted a bid in the
amount of$57,310; and,
WHEREAS, City Council is of the opinion that the bid submitted by Simplex Grinnell
L.P. of Beaumont, Texas, should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid submitted by Simplex Grinnell L.P. of Beaumont, Texas, for the purchase
and installation of a fire alarm system in the Police Department be accepted by the City of
Beaumont.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this the 30th day of
August, 2005.
