WHEREAS, an agreement has been negotiated for the acquisition of land for the
Martin Luther King Jr. Project;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the purchase of the following land as shown on Exhibit "A" attached hereto for the
Martin Luther King Jr. Project, be and the same is hereby, approved:
Parcels 7, 8, 9: Van Wormer Addition, Lots 1, 2, 3, 11
and 12, Block 9
(902-26 College Street)
Appraiser: Bishop Real Estate Appraisers, Inc.
Total Appraised Value: $41,500
50% Undivided Interest of David Wayne
Tinkle $20,750
Owners: David Wayne Tinkle and Robert Tinkle
PASSED BY THE CITY_COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this the 16th day of
August, 2005.
