WHEREAS, the lawsuit styled Antioch Missionary Baptist Church of Beaumont, Texas v
The City of Beaumont, et al. was discussed in an Executive Session properly called and
held Tuesday, July 19; and,
WHEREAS, the Council desires to authorize the settlement of the lawsuit styled
Antioch Missionaryy Baptist Church of Beaumont, Texas v The City of Beaumont, et al.;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the City Attorney be, and he is hereby, authorized to settle in the amount of Four
Thousand ($4,000) Dollars in the lawsuit styled Antioch Missionary Baptist Church of
Beaumont, Texas v The City of Beaumont, et al.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this the 26th day of
July, 2005.
