ENTITLED AN ORDINANCE ABANDONING A PORTION OF
S. 9T" STREET IN THE CITY OF BEAUMONT, JEFFERSON
COUNTY, TEXAS.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT a portion of S. 9" Street, being a 60' x 150' portion of 9th Street beginning at the
north right-of-way line of West Euclid, extending northerly a distance of 150' to the
southern boundary of that portion of 9th Street abandoned by Ord. 84-94, City of
Beaumont, Jefferson County, Texas, containing 0.206 acres, more or less, as described
on Exhibit"A"attached hereto, be and the same is hereby vacated and abandoned subject
to the following conditions:
• Retain an exclusive 10' sanitary sewer easement along the north end of the
abandonment.
• No structures or appurtenances shall be placed within the easement
property.
• Water utilities will not be responsible for any surface restoration when
sanitary sewer repairs are necessary.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this the 26th day of July,
2005.
