WHEREAS, bids were received fora one(1)year contract for the purchase of waste
treatment polymer; and,
WHEREAS, Stockhausen, Inc., Greensboro, North Carolina, submitted a bid in the
unit amount of$1.02 per pound with an estimated total contract expenditure of $51,000;
and,
WHEREAS, City Council is of the opinion that the bid submitted by Stockhausen,
Inc., Greensboro, North Carolina, is the lowest responsible bid meeting specifications and
should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid submitted by Stockhausen, Inc., Greensboro, North Carolina, in the unit
amount of$1.02 per pound with an estimated total contract expenditure of$51,000 for a
one (1) year contract for the purchase of waste treatment polymer is hereby accepted.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this the 21st day of
June, 2005.
