WHEREAS, an agreement has been negotiated for the acquisition of land for the
Martin Luther King, Jr. Park Project;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the purchase of the following land as shown on Exhibit "A" attached hereto for the
Martin Luther King, Jr. Park Project be and the same is hereby approved:
Parcel 4: Lot 9, Block 9, Van Wormer Addition (967 Wall Street)
Appraiser: Bishop Real Estate Appraisers, Inc.
Total Appraised Value: $7,000
Owner: Byron L. Lewis and wife, Dwana Lewis
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this the 26th day of April,
2005.
