BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the City Manager be and he is hereby authorized to submit an application for and
receive funding in the amount of$177,747 through the Byrne Memorial Justice Assistance
Grant program. This program replaces the Local Law Enforcement Block Grant.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the City Manager be and he is hereby authorized to
execute inter-local agreements with Jefferson County and Port Arthur in orderto reallocate
Grant funds in the amount of$26,662 to Jefferson County and $38,571 to Port Arthur.
