WHEREAS, the City of Beaumont has no objection to the disposal of surplus
property at 735-755 Wall Street and 810 Trinity, as shown below and as described in
Exhibit "A" attached hereto:
Address: 735-755 Wall Street, 810 Trinity
Legal: South Part Lots 506, 507, and 508, Block 65, Beaumont Addition
Zoning: RCR- Residential Conservation Revitalization
and,
WHEREAS,the land is no longer needed forthe use of citizens as a road, nordoes
it have a potential for park, conservation, recreation or similar purposes; and,
WHEREAS, the City of Beaumont wishes to sell the property to Helen Thomas;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the City Manager be, and he is hereby, authorized to sell the property to Helen
Thomas in the amount of$2,500.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this the 22nd day of
February 22"d, 2005.
