WHEREAS, bids were received to purchase twenty-one(21)lightbars forthe Police
Department's patrol vehicles; and,
WHEREAS, GT Distributors, Austin, Texas, submitted a bid in the amount of
$1,672.28 each for a total expenditure of$35,117.88; and,
WHEREAS, City Council is of the opinion that the bid submitted by GT Distributors,
Austin, Texas, should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid to purchase twenty-one (21) Code 3 LED X2100 police vehicle lightbars
submitted by GT Distributors, Austin, Texas, in the amount of$1,672.28 each for a total
expenditure of$35,117.88 be accepted by the City of Beaumont.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this the 8th day of
February, 2005.
