WHEREAS, Resolution No. 04-174 passed by City Council on August 3, 2004,
authorized the City Manager to execute a contract with the Beaumont Community Housing
Development Organization (BCHDO)in the amount of$222,750 forthe purchase ofthree-
pre-existing scatter-site homes to be retained as lease property for no more than thirty-six
(36) months and sold to eligible low/moderate income families; and,
WHEREAS, an additional $12,150 is required due to current market conditions;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT Resolution No. 04-174 be and the same is hereby amended to provide the additional
$12,150 increasing the contract to $234,900 to purchase three pre-existing scatter-site
homes to be retained as lease property for no more than thirty-six (36) months and sold
to eligible low/moderate income families.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this the 8th day of
February, 2005.
