WHEREAS, City Council in Resolution No. 03-093 on May 5, 2003, awarded a
contract for the Downtown Improvements Orleans Street (Crockett to Wall Street)
Interlocking concrete Brick Pavers Project in the amount of$929,258.71 to ALLCO, Ltd.;
and,
WHEREAS, Change Order No.1 in the amount of($22,580) on February 18, 2003
and Change Order No. 2 in the amount of $15,895.30 on May 5, 2004 decreasing the
contract by $6,684.70 was approved by City Manager; and,
WHEREAS, Change Order No. 3 in the amount of ($112,751.71) is required to
adjust the estimated quantities during the performance of the project decreasing the
contract amount to $809,822.30;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the City Manager be, and he is hereby authorized, to execute Change Order No.
3 to the Downtown Improvements Orleans Street (Crockett to Wall Street) Interlocking
concrete Brick Pavers Project in the amount of($112,751.71) which is required to adjust
the estimated quantities during the performance of the project decreasing the contract
amount to $809,822.30. The project, as stated above, be and the same is hereby
accepted and the City Manager be and he is hereby authorized to make final payment in
the amount of$87,637.67 to ALLCO, Ltd.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this the 25th day of
